ForLife – an app for the whole family, based on the lunar calendar.

Our family is now spread out in different places. There are a few things that keep troubling me: the anniversaries of our ancestors are often forgotten because the calendar on our phones only follows the solar calendar; and those stories that our grandparents used to tell, no one has recorded them, and they are slowly forgotten. ForLife started from small issues like these.

Simply put, this is a place for the whole family — grandparents, parents, and children — to interact together on the phone. But unlike foreign family apps, ForLife follows the traditional Vietnamese way: it operates based on the lunar calendar. The app automatically reminds users of anniversaries, birthdays, and festivals according to the lunar dates and converts them to the correct solar dates for each year, so your family won’t miss them. Facebook, Zalo, or Google Calendar cannot do this.

Inside the app, you can also:

• Write a "family memoir" — a timeline spanning multiple generations, preserving milestones, images, and even stories from grandparents (with AI assisting in recording them in voice).
• Look up the lunar calendar, check auspicious hours, choose good days for weddings, groundbreaking, inaugurations, or travel.
• Have a private bulletin board just for the family: post photos, seek opinions, schedule gatherings, send messages, and make video calls.
• Remember the departed: remind about death anniversaries and store their resting places.

The app is available in both Vietnamese and English, making it easy for older grandparents to use; it runs even without internet access.
