MSSH is an open-source desktop application for macOS that helps developers and DevOps engineers manage SSH connections and access remote servers from one place. It supports OpenSSH configuration aliases, direct SSH, AWS Systems Manager Session Manager (SSM), and SSH over SSM. Users can organize connections into workspaces, switch between persistent terminal sessions, and run interactive tools such as Vim and htop without losing their terminal context.
Built with Go, Wails, and React, MSSH stores connection data locally using SQLite and uses the operating system's credential store for passwords. It also verifies SSH host keys and integrates with the AWS CLI for authentication. MSSH is designed to simplify daily server management while keeping the workflow practical and security-conscious.
MSSH is open source, and its code is available on GitHub for anyone to explore, use, and contribute to. Currently, macOS is the primary supported platform.
