Users vote, comment and open a Talk on products they care about. Each response adds points to both the product and its maker.
The today board ranks by a product's current points, updating as soon as it gets an interaction. Weekly, monthly and yearly boards rank products launched in that period by the points snapshotted on their launch day.
Personal points move a user up levels, unlocking perks and raising the weight behind their vote.
A supporter pays through SePay. Unikorn keeps a service fee at the moment of payment, the rest lands in the maker's Unikorn wallet. The maker withdraws it to their bank account once an admin approves the request.
