What Unikorn is
Unikorn is a community for tech products built by Vietnamese makers: apps, websites, SaaS, developer tools, AI products, games, browser extensions, open source projects and hardware. Makers post their products to launch them, and people come to see what is new, upvote what they like and give feedback straight to the people who built it.
Who it is for
- Makers, indie hackers and startup teams who want their first users, honest feedback and a clear view of how their product is received.
- Developers and product people who want to see what Vietnamese builders are working on, which stacks they use and which problems they solve.
- Everyday users looking for a tool or app made in Vietnam to use every day.
What people do on Unikorn
- Launch products: a maker submits a product, it is reviewed, and it goes live on the home page in the next launch. See For makers.
- Upvote: members upvote the products they like. Each vote is weighted by the voter's level, see vote weight.
- Rankings: products are ranked by day, week, month and year based on points. How it works is on ranking, and the boards are on the leaderboard.
- Talk and Pulse: Talk is where people discuss each product, and Pulse is the shared feed with Talks, polls and product ideas.
- Feedback, roadmap and changelog: users report bugs and request features, and makers update the roadmap and post a changelog when they ship.
- Support makers: users can buy a maker a coffee through VietQR. Details are in the payment policy.
- Earn points and level up: activity on Unikorn earns points, levels and achievements. See points, levels and achievements.
Uni
