FlexTable is a native desktop database client that puts SQL and NoSQL in one editor. It came out of a simple frustration: working across several databases usually means keeping TablePlus open for SQL, Compass for Mongo and RedisInsight for Redis and switching between them all day, and many of those clients are heavy Electron or JVM apps that quietly phone home on top of it. FlexTable pulls all of that into one window and tries to stay light and private instead.

Most clients make you pick a side: TablePlus is native and light but SQL only, while DBeaver and DataGrip reach more engines but run on the JVM and feel heavy. FlexTable tries to sit in between, native and cross-platform, and it treats NoSQL as a first-class citizen with a genuine MongoDB shell and Redis command editor rather than a read-only browser.
