If you're a software or DevOps engineer working with Kubernetes, you've probably heard of Lens — the Kubernetes IDE that made cluster management so much easier. I've been a big fan and used it for years throughout my career.

But since Lens was acquired by Mirantis, its direction has shifted toward closed source, and it's no longer as open to the community as it once was.

That's what motivated me to build Galacius — a community-driven, open-source alternative that takes the spirit of Lens and grows it further.

It's built with Wails (Go + Webview), so instead of shipping an Electron app, Galacius stays lightweight with no bundled Chromium runtime — while still giving you a modern, web-based UI/UX.
