GatherPlay is a party game suite that can be played in a browser for a group of friends sitting in the same room: a shared screen (TV, laptop, or projector) acts as the game board, while each person's phone serves as their hand of cards.

The idea came after our company's 3-day, 2-night team building trip: two free evenings where no one brought board games. Everyone has a phone, the hotel has a TV, so that's enough to play.

Main features:

• Scan a QR code to enter the room: no app installation, no account creation, free of charge

• Your phone only holds your secret information (role, cards in hand, answers); shared moments display on the TV, encouraging the whole group to look at each other

• Werewolf doesn't require a moderator: the game autonomously guides the night and day phases

• Available in Vietnamese and English, each phone can select its language independently

• If the device locks or loses connection during the game, simply reopen it to continue playing

Who should use it: groups of friends gathering on weekends, teams going for team building or company trips, families during holidays, clubs and classrooms looking for a common game.

How to start: open gatherplay.games on the TV or laptop, click "Create Room", choose a game, then everyone scans the QR code with their phone camera. It runs in a browser, no installation needed.

Key difference: unlike other online Werewolf apps, GatherPlay is designed for people sitting together in the same room to play face-to-face, rather than playing with strangers over the internet. Unlike Jackbox, GatherPlay is free, does not require purchase or installation on a console or Steam, and includes Vietnamese language support along with familiar games for Vietnamese people such as Werewolf, Horse Racing, and Hot Pepper.
