Pic2Prompt — turn any image on the web into a ready-to-use English prompt

Pic2Prompt is an extension for Chrome and Edge. Hover over any image on the web, click Prompt, and you'll get an English command describing that image, ready to paste into Midjourney, Gemini, ChatGPT, DALL·E, or Flux.

The problem it solves

Seeing an image you like and having to write a prompt from scratch is time-consuming, and the result often strays far from the original: wrong composition, poor lighting, loss of texture, style mismatch. For those who do not write English fluently, the barrier is even greater, while almost all image generation models yield the best results in English. Pic2Prompt reads the image and writes that description for you.

And what needs describing is often not just one image: an illustration in an article with a caption, a cell in a sprite sheet, a chart drawn with SVG, a video frame that is paused, two images placed side by side. Therefore, you can select any area on the screen, not just an image.

• Hover to find the button. Or right-click anywhere and drag a box to capture exactly what you need. The selected area is cropped before being sent, so the details inside retain full resolution instead of shrinking within the larger image.
• Five result formats in one table: English prompt, structured version, JSON, tags, and negative prompt.
• Select "dialect" according to the tool you use: Generic, Midjourney (automatically adds --ar, --no), Gemini, ChatGPT, DALL·E, Flux. Each platform has its own writing style, pasting in the wrong place may cause syntax errors to appear in the image.
• Three quality levels based on needs: Fast (1 credit), Balanced (3 credits), Max (8 credits) — simple images don’t need to pay the price of complex ones.
