Overview
Solitaire Classic: Angel Dates is a mobile dating-sim hybrid built around classic Klondike solitaire. The core pitch is: win hands of solitaire to win romantic story scenes with angel characters. It is developed by HUNG THAI DAO and is currently available on iOS through the App Store.
Core Gameplay
The game is built on classic Klondike solitaire rules:
- Draw cards, build tableau columns in alternating colors and descending order
- Move cards to foundation piles by suit from Ace to King
- Clear the table to win the hand
The twist is that solitaire is not just a minigame — it is the main progression mechanic. Each win advances the relationship with the current character and unlocks the next narrative chapter.
Structure: 10 Angels × 10 Rounds
- 10 stages, one per romantic interest
- Each stage has 10 rounds of solitaire, for a total of 100 hands
- Each angel has her own personality, dialogue, and branching scenes
- Rounds gradually increase in difficulty through scarcity mechanics, such as limited undos and limited recycles (deck re-deals)
Story & Characters
- The game is framed as a narrative romance experience
- Each angel has an intro scene and an end scene that branch based on player choices or outcomes
- Scenes are voice-acted
- Dialogue and story beats are unlocked by winning hands, so progress depends on card-game skill rather than just tapping through text
The romantic interests are presented as “angels,” and the overall aesthetic is a pixel art + space theme.

- 1 skin comes from the dating scene
- Skins 2–6 are unlocked by winning rounds
