In communication, surely everyone has encountered situations where the other party uses unfamiliar words, slang, or some trending phrases that are really hard to understand. I myself have gone through that situation many times.

If you try to look up those phrases online, I always get clear definitions along with their origins and specific examples. However, there is one thing that has not satisfied me, which is that the content is scattered, and there is no website that focuses on explaining these trending words.

So, I sat down to code and launched TLONG, a slang dictionary created by the community. TLONG is inspired by Urban Dictionary, a slang dictionary in English.

Currently, TLONG is still in its infancy with the following functions:

• Search for words

• Define words

• Upvote good words, downvote not-so-good words ))

• Report violating words
