Tummy - Transform the reminder to eat less candy into a fun ultrasound game for kids
Tummy is a simulated ultrasound app for children aged 3–6 years, helping parents and teachers remind kids to limit their candy consumption, sugary drinks, and maintain good dental hygiene in a more fun and friendly way.
Instead of constantly reminding or scolding, parents can play doctor with their child, examining their belly and discovering cute characters hidden inside.
A special ultrasound machine for kids
Does your child love candy, enjoy drinking soda but dislike brushing their teeth or eating vegetables?
Many parents are familiar with the scene of having to repeat: "Eat less candy, or you'll get cavities!". But the more they remind, sometimes the less the child wants to listen.
Tummy was born from a simple idea: What if familiar reminders turned into a fun game?
With Tummy, parents can transform into doctors, using the ultrasound probe on the screen to examine their child's belly. As the probe moves, candy-loving worms, sweet bugs, and mischievous bubbles will slowly appear.
But don't worry, these worms are not scary at all. They are just busy enjoying candy and causing trouble. When kids call for heroes like toothbrushes, broccoli, or water drops to help, all the worms will quickly run away.
Through each game session, children naturally get acquainted with good habits like brushing their teeth, eating vegetables, and drinking water without any force.
What’s special about Tummy?
Not just a game, but also a way to converse with your child
The special thing about Tummy is that it does not try to scare children to make them listen.
The characters are designed in a cute cartoon style. The surprise situations are only playful, and in the end, the child always wins with the help of good habits.
Tummy also does not make children feel bad or guilty for loving candy. Instead, the greedy worms are the troublemakers.
Parents can play and ask their child: "Oh, there’s a worm in your belly eating candy! Who should we call for help?". This way, reminding the child to brush their teeth or drink water becomes a more enjoyable conversation.
The app is perfect for parents to play with their children at home or for preschool teachers to organize a short activity about eating habits and dental hygiene.
How to use Tummy
Tummy works directly in the browser, no need to register an account or install complicated software.
If using a phone, parents should rotate the screen horizontally for a better experience. If using a laptop, you can press the F key to enter fullscreen mode and project it onto the TV.
