   • Regular backup/export of the database.

3. Local-first app sync server

   • Desktop/mobile app stores SQLite locally.
   • Catena serves as a simple “sync node” within the LAN.
   • Client sends SQL changes via /transaction.
   • WebSocket notifies other clients to refresh.

4. Internal analytics database

   • A single SQLite file contains event/log/business metrics.
   • The team uses Catena to query through HTTP.
   • Internal dashboard retrieves data using SQL.
   • No need to set up Postgres just to read a small dashboard.

5. Embedded admin backend for desktop app

   • Desktop app has internal SQLite.
   • When “developer/admin mode” is enabled, the app runs Catena.
