DESIGN:OS Studio is an open-source desktop interface design studio, built in Rust with a native, local-first approach optimized for a design workflow with an AI agent actively involved. The product focuses on bringing design, code, and agent workflows into a single environment rather than having to switch between multiple discrete tools.

DESIGN:OS Studio supports working with Figma files .fig v106, GPU-native canvas, components and variables, Dev Mode for generating code for multiple targets, along with MCP server 22 tools for connecting with AI agents. Additionally, the application features integrated PTY Chat for working with CLI agents such as Claude Code, Codex, Gemini, or Grok directly within the design workflow.
