Merid is a browser extension for Vietnamese users who want to expand their English vocabulary without spending extra time studying. Instead of opening a dictionary or flashcard app, you can browse the web as usual. When you read news, blogs, or any Vietnamese website, Merid quietly searches for Vietnamese words it recognizes and displays the corresponding English vocabulary right within the text. You learn new words in the context of what you are reading.

How it works:
Turn on the extension and choose the vocabulary set you want to learn: SAT, CEFR C1, CEFR C2, or combine them all. Open any Vietnamese website. Merid scans the page, finds the Vietnamese words from the set you selected, and displays the corresponding English words. Hover over any word to open a learning card with definitions, pronunciation, example sentences, synonyms, antonyms, and the Vietnamese meaning.
