Payload Components is an open-source registry and CLI for Payload v3 + Next.js teams. It installs production-ready blocks as editable source, then handles the wiring that copied components usually leave behind: collection config, renderer maps, generated types, and the admin import map.
Run npx payload-components add hero-basic to land a clean git diff you can review, customize, and own. Each block ships with source files, docs, manifests, and installer tests, so installs are repeatable and reruns converge instead of duplicating setup.
The goal is simple: make reusable Payload blocks feel as smooth as shadcn/ui while keeping the code inside your repo.
