RhinoQ is a background task management platform for Node.js, React, Next.js, and NestJS applications. The product transforms long-running tasks like report generation, video processing, data synchronization, external service calls, or AI pipelines into Tasks with clear status, progress, and results.

Instead of making users wait, reload the page, or not know whether the task has been completed or not, RhinoQ provides an intuitive Task Center for them to track progress in real-time, search for tasks, view history, cancel jobs, retry on failure, and download results or artifacts upon completion. The interface can be embedded in React, Vite, SPA, and Next.js applications, while also supporting theme customization, display density, and the presentation of each Task.

RhinoQ is best suited for SaaS products, video and file processing systems, report generation, data import/export, order synchronization, automation, AI pipelines, and applications with tasks that cannot be completed in a single HTTP request.

To start the experience, Node.js 22 or 24 is required. Run:

npx rhinoq dev --demo

This command opens a demo environment with running Tasks, completed Tasks, downloadable results, failed Tasks, and tasks needing confirmation. No database, Redis, or provider information is required to preview the interface.

The distinguishing feature of RhinoQ is connecting a durable Task status with both the user experience and operational tools. Users know how far along the task is, while support teams have evidence to understand what happened and choose the next safe processing step.

RhinoQ is currently in public beta, suitable for evaluation, building test cases, and controlled pilot implementation.
