Voxy is a Discord bot that reads aloud Vietnamese messages in voice channels. You type in the chat of the voice channel, and the whole room hears it in a Vietnamese voice.

I created Voxy because every gaming group has someone who can't turn on their mic: in the dorm, playing late at night and worried about noise, a broken mic, or simply feeling shy to speak. They type in chat while everyone is focused on playing, and no one reads. Voxy reads for them.

Main features:

• Free regular voice, 20,000 characters per day for each server.
• 10 HD Vietnamese voices, each person can choose their voice using /myvoice, adjusting the speed from 0.5x to 2x.
• Understands text slang and abbreviations (no, you, 8:30, 100k...), each server has its own pronunciation dictionary, up to 300 words.
• Add Voxy 2, 3, 4 to read 4 voice channels simultaneously in one server.
• Admins can choose which roles are allowed to be read by the bot using /set roles.

Who should use it: Vietnamese game servers, study groups, or online work on Discord, and those who are not comfortable or do not want to speak in voice.

How to get started: available on Discord on computers, web, and phones. Add the bot to your server at voxybot.app, enter a voice channel, type /join, and then just chat as usual. Type /leave when you want the bot to leave the channel.

What makes it different: Voxy is made specifically for Vietnamese. Messages are normalized before reading (text slang, time, money, laughter "kkk"), so it sounds more like a Vietnamese person speaking rather than a machine reading each word. The HD voice is purchased with credits once, shared across the server, without a subscription package.
