AniMapper is a project aimed at providing an API for retrieving anime information and stream sources from anime movie websites on the Internet. The project only aggregates information from various websites and does not store data directly.
AniMapper provides a complete API suite for you to build apps/websites/extensions related to anime & manga, including:
Media Search (anime/manga) by title, media type, result limit
Get detailed metadata: title, description, image, genre, and list of streaming providers
Get episode lists by provider
Get stream sources for each episode (by provider + server)
Autocomplete: quick search suggestions (suitable for search bar)
The project aims to create a playground for fellow wibu enthusiasts who love to create anime websites but do not know where to find data sources, wanting to experiment and learn. The main goals are:
Provide accurate data: Information is updated from various sources.
Easy integration: Support for multiple formats for developers.
High performance: The API is optimized for quick responses.
The AniMapper project is completely free. You can use the API without having to pay any fees.
In addition to providing an API, AniMapper is also used as the foundation for Seanime extensions. Seanime is an app similar to Jellyfin/Plex but dedicated to anime, synchronized with AniList to track viewing progress. Thanks to the extension, you can now watch online anime with Vietnamese subtitles without ads, offering a smoother and cleaner experience.
