Deron is an automated patrol and surveillance UAV system developed by Vietnamese people, aimed at the practical monitoring needs in agriculture, industrial zones, factories, private land, protected areas, and spaces requiring regular inspections. The system is designed to fly on a scheduled route, record data, assist in detecting anomalies, return to the Dock/charging station, log operations, and prepare for the next patrol cycle.

Unlike a conventional manual flying drone, Deron is oriented as an operational system with processes: flight route scheduling, patrolling, data recording, anomaly detection support, returning to the charging station, recharging, and repeating the cycle. The main value of Deron is to provide the operating unit with a repetitive monitoring tool, data collection, logging, reducing risks for personnel on-site, and laying the foundation for future UAV applications.

Deron is developed in the spirit of Made in Vietnam – Built for Vietnam, prioritizing safety, verifiability, suitability for operational conditions in Vietnam, and a focus on technological self-reliance. The project is built on four core values: authenticity, compassion, continuous improvement, and a spirit of community service.

In the current phase, Deron focuses on automated patrol and surveillance applications before expanding to larger UAV classes such as logistics, emergency medical services, disaster relief, industrial zone transportation, and low-altitude flight infrastructure in the future.
